Firefighting boosters are devices of active protection, used in buildings to protect and safeguard people and goods. Its use allows a direct intervention in the fire, suppressing, controlling, or extinguishing it through manual equipment or automatic devices. This equipment is for exclusive use in emergency or aid situations and, in a general way, can be defined as a set of pumps, respective controls and monitoring devices designed to provide the appropriated flow and pressure to a hydraulic installation for firefighting.
HANNAIK firefighting boosters are suitable for specified applications and in accordance with the standards provided for Portugal and Spain (Portugal: EN12845; Spain: EN12845 and UNE 23500 de 2018).
These units have, at least, main pump(s), standby pump, and a jockey pump. The standby pumps can be electrically or diesel driven.
Pump combinations (main and standby) can have the following configurations at HANNAIK, namely:

It comprises a pump driven by an electric engine, an auxiliary (jockey) electric pump, and a standby pump driven by an electric engine. It includes all the necessary accessories (valves, pressure switches, and manometer) and in accordance with the standard.
